HH Radhanath Swami has very nicely explained the purpose of life through this discourse. It is a fact that if we do not strive to develop selfless love for God & please Him through devotional service, then we are no better than 2-legged animals.

    wonderful explained by radhanath swamiji

Well! I can go on complicating things, but the beauty of ‘truth’ is that it’s very simple. The purpose of life is to do good things. Yes! “To do good things…” to yourself and others.

There was a time when I used to think that the purpose of my life is to get education, then someday it became my priority to get a job, and then to marry …. . I know there is no end to this prioritization of objectives with change of time.

just awesome explanation by Radhanath swamiji , really swamiji you touch the heart of everyone
In the Bhagavad Gita, Lord Krishna told Arjuna that he should not grieve for what is inevitable in life. As we come into this world, our body undergoes disease, old age and death. These are natural things. But when a natural disaster takes many lives, we may wonder and think: “Why?” What then should we do? We cannot account for this. No illness or disease, no old age: death has struck while the victims were strong and healthy. But, as Lord Krishna said, when this happens we must remember that as death is certain, life, too, is certain: that after we die we take birth again in this world and, therefore, even when these things happen we should not grieve. The wise grieve neither for the living nor for the dead. Those who think that the Atma — the Soul — can slay or be slain are ignorant. Therefore, the wise do not grieve at all, as we should not grieve for those who should not be grieved for.

Radhanath swamiji really cross the ocean of real knowledge about human life…… thank u so much swamiji

There is a particular Purpose of each life from an ant to any cosmic life ( If exist any). It’s all about to find the right purpose of itself. As it is also hard to find the right purpose of my life, this part of life also leads to the purpose………..

I am not moving to complicated, It will be simpler when i could realize what is good/ wise or what is bad/ unwise. Realization on good/ bad things can be lead to the ultimate purpose of life…….
A good soul can realize the good things and could leads to be good as well.
Whatever we do…we need to make our soul good first. Whatever the purpose is for every one ( Purpose can be difference for every one), but priority is realization what is requires a good soul.

“Go inside of you and let the soul be good first”

Thanku you swamiji for explaining such nice heart touching question……..

Today, I realized that actually those are/were needs & necessities; not the purpose of life. I was in a total state of confusion regarding this issue. In addition, the worldly pressures was so high that everything got mixed up. I hope, that you got the point I am trying to tell.

What we don’t realize is that despite of being a singular entity, we humans live a life with multiple roles. You are a son, a student, a family member, a patriot, a teacher, a boss, an employee, and in numerous other characters at very same time.

Perhaps it will be best to live each role with perfection. Anyhow, on looking at world-around it appears a like a complete state of chaos.
